Eva Rawlings Parker, MD, DTMH, is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She delivers award-winning care, specializing in medical, inpatient, and cosmetic dermatology. Her academic expertise includes the health effects of HIV dermatoses, and tropical and infectious disease dermatology. She is a native Nashvillian and proud alumna of Harpeth Hall School.
Dr. Parker is passionate about ensuring access to dermatologic care for vulnerable populations, providing care to people living with HIV, staffing Nashville General Hospital's dermatology clinic, and providing volunteer care for patients at Siloam Health and Shade Tree Clinic in Nashville. Additionally, Dr. Parker is a member of the volunteer medical corps of Addis Clinic providing telehealth consultation services in Africa, has taught internationally in resource-limited settings, and is a supervisor/mentor at the Regional Dermatology Training Centre in Tanzania.
She is a member of the International League of Dermatological Societies' WHO Official Relations Committee, Deputy Chair of the American Academy of Dermatology's (AAD) World Congress Fund Review Task Force, and a member of the CDC's Global Chromoblastomycosis Working Group. Dr. Parker has a B.S. in Environmental Science, and actively publishes and speaks nationally and internationally. Locally, she is president of both the Nashville Dermatological Society and Williamson County Medical Society.
