Thank you for your interest in Vanderbilt Dermatology! 

The department builds on a long legacy of excellence in research, education and clinical care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). We thrive because of the talents and energy of our people and the incomparable environment at VUMC.  

We have highly accomplished faculty, a sought-after residency program, and rapidly expanding research programs. 

First-rate patient care is our highest priority in clinic, and our faculty are widely known for their expertise in all aspects of dermatologic care, including comprehensive general dermatology, complex medical dermatoses, inpatient consultative dermatology, pediatric dermatology, procedural dermatology, and dermatopathology. We are highly committed to teaching and mentoring residents, fellows and students, both in conferences and in our clinics.   

Our research programs are flourishing in Vanderbilt’s atmosphere of ambitious inquiry; we have robust and growing programs in immunobiology of skin disease, data science, clinical application of novel imaging and other measurement technologies, as well as the genetic epidemiology of skin cancer.
