Eman Bahrani, MD
Professional Bio

Eman Bahrani, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

She is a native Texan who graduated from Rice University and obtained her MD with Honors from Baylor
College of Medicine in Houston. She then completed her Internal Medicine internship at Mount Auburn Hospital, Harvard Medical School before starting her Dermatology residency at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). Following residency, Dr. Bahrani completed additional subspecialty training in Dermatopathology at Stanford University and is board certified in both Dermatology and Dermatopathology. 

Dr. Bahrani practices general dermatology, with a special interest in high risk skin cancer patients. She also interprets dermatopathology cases at VUMC and the Nashville VA Medical Center and teaches the dermatology and pathology residents. Her research interests include molecular mechanisms of and risk factors for neoplasia and improving diagnostic accuracy and teaching in dermatopathology.
