Professional Bio

Carmen Montagnon, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is a native Californian and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attended Hamilton College where she obtained a BA in chemistry and received her MD at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine. 

Dr. Montagnon completed both her intern year in internal medicine and dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic and she was elected to serve as Chief Resident during her final year of residency. She was an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Mayo Clinic prior to joining VUMC in 2024.
