Dr. Stacy McMurray
Professional Bio

Stacy McMurray, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC).

She received her medical training from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) and completed a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery & Dermatologic Oncology at VUMC. After her fellowship, Dr. McMurray joined faculty as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where she focused on research, education, and clinical care. She returned to Vanderbilt in 2023. and now serves as the Associate Program Director for the Mohs Fellowship Program. 

Dr. McMurray is recognized for her expertise in skin cancer treatment, with a focus on Mohs micrographic surgery. She lectures both nationally and internationally on treatment of skin cancer and reconstruction techniques. She has authored and coauthored numerous peer-reviewed publications in the academic dermatologic literature. She also serves as a committee member for the American Board of Dermatology.
